11 December 2021
George’s All Things Must Pass 50th Anniversary album has received a GRAMMY® nomination at the 64th Annual Awards in the ‘Best Boxed Or Special Limited Edition Package’ category. Art directed by Dhani Harrison, Olivia Harrison and Darren Evans, the Uber Deluxe Edition of the album features the album on 8LP and 5CD/Blu-ray housed in an artisan designed wooden crate, accompanied by two elegantly designed books paying homage to Harrison’s love for gardening and nature, including a wooden bookmark made from a felled Oak tree (Quercus Robur) at Friar Park.

Executive produced by Dhani Harrison and mixed by triple GRAMMY® Award-winning engineer Paul Hicks (The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, John Lennon), the 50th Anniversary edition of the album was completely mixed from the original tapes and expanded with 47 (42 previously unreleased) demos and outtakes, allowing listeners to enjoy and explore the album and the legendary recording sessions like never before.
The album re-entered Top 10s around the world upon its reissue with Rolling Stone saying, “People used to argue whether this triple album should have been edited down to one or two records – but this edition makes you believe it should have been a quadruple album.”
