Harrison Documentary Premieres & Film Festival Screenings

George Harrison: Living in the Material World had its world premiere on 2nd October 2011. The documentary has also been traversing the world in film festivals over the last month — Telluride Film Festival, San Sebastian Film Festival, New York Film Festival, Mumbai Film Festival, as well as at the London, Liverpool and Paris premiere events — and will continue doing so for the months ahead.

The Paris premiere, which took place October 16, began with a mini live concert of 9 diverse artists playing the music of George Harrison — Martin Rappeneau, Yarol Poupaud, Peter von Poehl, Mohini Geisweiller, Poni Hoax, Yann Destal, Alister, Turzi, and JP Nataf.
Mumbai Film Festival – 20 October, 2011
Olivia Harrison had an exciting trip to the Mumbai Film Festival to show the film in India on Thursday. The George Harrison documentary screening was sold out, with 750 people turning out for the 250-seat theater. The film was greeted by heartfelt audience response, and a second screening was added in the evening to accommodate the overwhelming demand.
